Join THIS Institute and The BMJ on Thursday 04 November 8 – 9pm for a tweetchat about the burden of treatment and remote care.
Our Twitter account @THIS_Institute will share questions on Twitter and invite you to respond using #BurdenOfTreatment.
The BMJ will be tweeting on @BMJPatientEd.
1. Are there benefits of receiving care remotely? If so, tell us more.
2. Does remote care make treatment or management more burdensome? If so, how?
3. How could remote care help reduce the burden of treatment or management?
4. What research topics would be useful to help us understand and reduce the burden of treatment in remote care?
A tweetchat is a discussion on Twitter at a pre-arranged time about a specific topic using a #hashtag (for this chat it’s #BurdenOfTreatment). The hashtag links all the questions and answers into one virtual conversation.
@THIS_Institute will post four questions over one hour, listed as Q1, Q2 etc. Participants tweet their answers using A1, A2 and so on. We’ll moderate the conversation and ask follow-up questions. Make sure you use #BurdenOfTreatment in each tweet and capitalise the first letter of each word in the hashtag so screen readers can read it.
The tweetchat will last about an hour. The best way to see the whole conversation is to search on Twitter for #BurdenOfTreatment and click on the ‘latest tweets’ tab.
